Explore the art of throwing and creating stunning large-scale pottery forms in this immersive 6-class workshop series. 

Guided by an experienced ceramic artist Spandana, you'll delve into the intricate techniques of building large pottery with lids, allowing you to craft monumental pieces and carve them that showcase form and function.

Throughout the series, you'll:

Designing Grand Vessels with Lids: Learn to envision and plan your projects, from conceptualizing intricate forms to mapping out assembly strategies for impressive outcomes.

Surface Embellishments: Elevate your pieces with surface decoration techniques such as carving, and texturing, adding depth and visual interest to your large-scale works.

Finishing Flourish: Put the finishing touches on your masterpieces, refining details by trimming, and preparing your creations for firing, leaving you with stunning, monumental pottery pieces that reflect your artistic journey.

Make three pieces, 3kgs to 4kgs, with optional lids, and trim and finish the pot. Learn to Pug of reclaim clay and properly wedge huge amounts of clay.
