Intro to Hand Building - Project: Halloween Pumpkin

Halloween season is meant to explore the intuitive nature of pottery with an added spookiness to awaken all your senses.🎃
Whether you’re seeking a solo halloween escape, a shared moment with your children, or a bonding halloween pottery experience with friends, or just in it for pottery vibes — our Pumkin Making has something for everyone. 💀
A carved pumpkin is probably the most classic Halloween symbol. In this session, we will use the Pinching technique, which is an essential hand-building technique to learn when you first begin to work with clay. It involves positioning the clay between the thumb and fingers and applying pressure while rotating the piece to thinning it out.
The following is included for both options:
• Female instructors - Master of Arts/Ceramics
• Clay needed for the workshop
• X1 Final Piece - extra piece AED 50/pc.
• All necessary tools
• Individual aprons
• Processing:
First Firing - Bisque Firing
Glazing/Coloring Session (available after 2-weeks)
Second Firing - Glaze Firing
